Marianne Weidner has been involved in fashion retail in Ireland for more than 30 years. Best known during this time as the buyer/manager for Monica John Cork, four years ago she joined her favourite label, OSKA to promote it in the Irish, UK, US and Canadian markets. A chance drive to Mizen Head prompted the opening of Oska Toormore. "Once I saw the premises, I knew I could fill it with stock from Munich and keep a lot of Oska Addicts very happy" says Marianne. Confident of the fact that her Graphic Designer husband, Jud, would be able to manage the marketing of the shop, Marianne was sure that she could bring people from all over to shop at Toormore.
That the three Weidner daughters, Jennifer, Meghan and Amy were all keen to work there was an extra bonus and so in April 2008 Oska Toormore opened its doors. at first the shop was carrying only outlet stock for women and men, but due to demand, Marianne now stocks new season Oska women plus accessories and other interesting labels that Marianne discovers on her travels.

Our Toormore shop is seasonal opening - late February or early March and closing the end of September. However, we do make some exceptions by public demand and so we are open for the October Bank Holiday weekend, one weekend before Christmas and, the week between Christmas and New Year; 28th December - 3rd January.
